Violens not only have both these, but they’ve also got pocketfuls of dreamy pop nuggets that owe a debt to the harmonies of the 60s and the production values of the 80s, while also floating into the unknown future. While comparisons to The Zombies have been chasing the band like undead monsters, they’ve obviously been eating their Prefab Sprouts too.
