What: Their website claims that trying to explain what the Burning Man festival is to someone who's never been is a bit like trying to explain what a particular colour looks like to someone who is blind (eh?). Anyway, each year has a theme (this year it's The American Dream) as well as activities, rides and all manner of craziness. Oh, and it's all set in the Nevada desert. Confused? Tickets: $210, $225, $250 tickets have all sold out. Tickets available in the fourth, and last stage of ticket release are $295 (£148) for the whole festival with camping.
