What: Cambridge Folk Festival has built up a super-loyal fan base: it sells out to 10,000 people each year. This year it will also be broadcast on BBC Radio 2 and BBC 4. It has craft, music and instrument stalls and free Internet access. You don't even have to be a folk obsessive, since all sorts of music, from jazz to Cajun, are featured. If Howard Moon could choose a festival, it'd be this one.
Tickets: £105 for the full weekend. £79 concession for disabled people for the weekend. £75 for weekend tickets for 14-5 year olds. £32 for weekend tickets for 5-13 year olds. Kids under 5 go free. Camping is charged per tent, not per person and is £50 for a 2-3 man tent. £35.50 for Friday day tickets. £46.50 for Saturday and Sunday day tickets. All tickets include booking fees but an additional £4.60 is charged on all orders for Special Delivery Postage.
