What: Every August for the last 30 years the inhabitants of Cropredy in Oxfordshire have welcomed an invasion of 20,000 music lovers for Fairport's Cropredy Convention, all wanting live music, real ale and pub grub. John Peel was a huge fan and such a legacy explains the notable line-up.
Tickets: If bought before June 1: £72 for three-day tickets, £62 for 2-day tickets, £42 for Saturday only. If bought between June 1 and July 31: £76 for three-day tickets, £66 for two-day tickets, £46 for Saturday only. If bought after July 31: £80 for three-day tickets, £70 for two-day tickets and £50 for Saturday only. Kids under 12 go free as long as they're with an adult ticket holder.
