What: Lowlands has a pretty impressive heritage. Started in 1967 as an all-night bender of experimental theatre, body painting and massage that went on for 18 hours it began attracting the likes of Pink Floyd in only its second year. It's continued on-and-off since then and it's no less weird these days with a three-day trip of music, theatre, comedy and visual arts of varying degrees of insanity.
Tickets: €132, 50 (£106) for a weekend ticket with camping (and tent), parking and shuttle bus.
