When: July 26-28
Where: East Kirkcarswell, near Dundrennan, South West Scotland
What: At 'Scotland's Alternative Music Festival', you'll find eight stages of music from funk and reggae to ska, a PIMMs bus, Margarita Bar, mountain bike trails and a 29-foot Wickerman effigy, which in the true spirit of the film is burnt at the end of the festival. The website sums up this festival as 'frolicky'. Just don't let the fact they've got Dodgy (yes, the 'Good Enough' meisters from way back when) on the line-up put you off.
Tickets: £75 for weekend tickets with camping and car parking. £50 for camping and car parking on Saturday only. Kids aged 12 and under go free.
