Reggae-rock band bring extra percussion to the northern event

Esser got the Festival Republic Stage skanking at Leeds Festival this afternoon (August 23), with their reggae-tinged indie-rock.

The newcomers, led by singer Ben Esser, performed seven tracks after taking the stage at 4.30pm (BST), mixing up samples, cowbells, reggae and indie-rock.

The biggest cheers were reserved for forthcoming single 'Satisfied' and former release 'Headlock', which closed the set.

The five-piece ended the set as they had begun it, with a long blast of echoed white noise from the guitars, bass and electronics.

Esser played:

'Leaving Town'
'I Love You'
'Satisfied'
'Let's Work It Out'
'Long Arms'
'This Time Around'
'Headlock'
