Metallica album to come out on a Friday

Rockers again choose unconventional day for release
Metallica have opted to release their forthcoming album ‘Death Magnetic’ on Friday September 12, when it will be made available all over the world.
The band opted out of releasing their previous record ‘St. Anger’ on the usual Monday/Tuesday in 2003, citing pirating as the reason at the time. No such reason as been given to the unconventional Friday release this time, says Billboard.
According to their own website, the band shot their new video for lead single ‘The Day That Never Comes’ on Friday (August 1), which was shot just outside Los Angeles.
Metallica will perform this Saturday (August 9) at Ozzfest in Dallas.
