'Mandatory Metallica' launches this month
Metallica will have their very own US radio station, which launches this month to coincide with the release of their highly anticipated forthcoming album 'Death Magnetic', due out worldwide on September 12.
'Mandatory Metallica' will feature rare live recordings from the band's personal archives, as well as band interviews, rare import tracks and other selections from the Metallica catalogue.
Metallica members James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo will serve as hosts of the programme, which will be broadcast on XM Radio's channel 51 for six weeks beginning August 16.
