Born Ruffians

Born Ruffians

Born Ruffians

Hummingbird

Finally, a resolution for that secret minority who find Clap Your Hands Say Yeah “head-scratching” or Vampire Weekend “too out there”: Toronto’s Born Ruffians. Rim-shot rhythms and barber-shop harmonies buzz like slaloming bumble-bees on the best thing Hot Club De Paris have never written. It also appears on an ad for a Globe-munching telecoms ogre. But don’t hate them for that, we’ve all got to pay the broadband bill.
