Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip

Scroobius Pip Camden Crawl 2007

Scroobius Pip Camden Crawl 2007

Letter From God To Man

We’re guessing if God were to write an arsey telegram to man it’d probably say something like “Stop mowing down the rainforest, you puny ’tards – that took me frippin’ ages”. Street-poet Scroobius Pip tackles the theoretical situation with a little more sophistication though, nimbly unwrapping his own recorded delivery to humanity while Mr Le Sac splices it to Radiohead’s ‘Planet Telex’ (after 12 months clearing rights). “It was you that invented bombs… and the corrupt economic systems” snarls MC Pip, like WH Auden on a soapbox perched on Planet Earth jabbing a board-rubber. Man! You’ve been warned – don’t do it again.

Im sorry to say, not a great review, it doesnt really say anything clearly about whether the song is good or not... Which, in fact, i can state that it is a great song, well worth a listen, and a class album too. Rob
